Andalay’s revolutionary engineering secures the parts within each panel, allowing these slim panels to be mounted closer together for a smaller “footprint” with no unsightly mounting racks, dangling wires, or gaps between panels. Andalay panels are modular, yet designed to attach together as an integrated system. All racking hardware, grounding wires, wiring connections – even the connections between panels – are integrated. The result is unparalleled reliability: fewer parts to fail, fewer roof penetrations, and fewer and shorter connections subject to pinch, abrade, or decay. Andalay’s improved reliability withstands the weather, without panels loosening from heating/cooling cycles.

Electrical Characteristics
Electrical characteristics measure the core system performance. Note that an Output Tolerance of ± 3% is very good, as is the integrated wiring and grounding, and the use of monocrystalline silicon.

Certifications/Ratings
Certifications are important because thay are the public's assurance that the product has passed safety guidlines and tests for design and performance. All solar power modules should perform to strict UL test requirements in the United States, and CSA certified in Canada.

Andalay is backed by three of the strongest warranties in the business.
The following is a brief description of warranty coverage in the United States. Please note that this is only an overview. There are exclusions and limitations that are not described here. Please ask to see the complete written Andalay warranty document for a full description of warranty coverage.
1. Limited Product Workmanship Warranty – Limited Remedy, 5 Year
For the first five years, any defect will be addressed. Note – this warranty does not warrant a specific power output. Power output is covered under the following 12 and 25 year warranties.
2. Limited Peak Power Output Warranty - Limited Remedy , 12 Year
For the first twelve (12) years, if any Andalay module exhibits a power output less than 90 % of the minimum “Peak Power at STC” current as of purchase date, and Andalay determines that the Module has a defect, Andalay will replace such loss in power by either providing additional Modules to the Customer to make up for such loss in power, or by replacing the defective Module(s) at the option of Andalay.
3. Limited Peak Power Output Warranty - Limited Remedy , 25 Year
For the first twenty-five (25) years, if any Andalay module exhibits a power output less than 80 % of the minimum “Peak Power at STC” current as of purchase date, and Andalay determines that the Module has a defect, Andalay will replace such loss in power by either providing additional Modules to the Customer to make up for such loss in power, or by replacing the defective Module(s) at the option of Andalay.
